In 1995, a group of talented educators and information technologists at the Communications Research Centre in Ottawa, Canada developed the first web-based ePortfolio, assessment and reporting tool. In the two decades since, Chalk & Wire has developed tools and processes that support programs and entire universities in their activities around the assessment of student learning.
