Badge Description

Upon completion, the badge earner will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of building control systems and the related electrical concepts. Understanding will be supported by hands-on skills of wiring of basic control circuits, testing using a digital multimeter, and the basic programming of controllers. Hands on skills are taught with safety in mind.

Badge costs can be paid through your tuition. Tuition may be covered by Financial Aid if you are eligible and earn the badge as part of a larger technical diploma or associate degree program.

A 2-credit college-level course. Badges are issued to those who complete these courses with a letter grade of C or better.
