Badge Description

Badge earners of this badge will complete GMAW - short circuit, GMAW - spray, FCAW - G (.045 - .062 diameter wire), and metalcore in multiple positions. Students will have the opportunity to take a horizontal 2G on 3/8" GMAW -spray practice test, a 3G 1" FCAW practice test, a Metalcore 1G 1" practice test. These are tests that are utilized by employers in manufacturing and can help you to gain employment.

Badge costs can be paid through your tuition. Tuition may be covered by Financial Aid if you are eligible and earn the badge as part of a larger technical diploma or associate degree program.
