Badge Description

Students have the opportunity to learn about safe food handling, meal planning, menu management and supervision.
Upon completion of this ANFP Approved Dietary Manager certificate, students are eligible to take the nationally recognized Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) Credentialing Exam offered by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers. These professionals work in a variety of healthcare, school and institutional food settings.

Badge costs can be paid through your tuition. Tuition may be covered by Financial Aid if you are eligible and earn the badge as part of a larger technical diploma or associate degree program.

Badge Criteria

Completion of DIETNT-106-- Food Service Sanitation (Bilingual)

A 2-credit college-level course **OR** Proof of the SERV Safe Food Handler credential

Completion of DIETNT-108-- Food Service Management 1 (Bilingual)

A 3-credit college-level course.

Completion of DIETNT-118-- Food Service Management 1 (Bilingual), Coordinated Practice

A 1-credit college-level course.

Completion of DIETNT-151-- Nutrition for Dietetics (Bilingual)

A 4-credit college-level course. Badges are issued to those who complete these courses with a letter grade of C or better.
