This digital badge affirms that the learner has gone through courses that explain the basics of building systems including heating, cooling, air handling, hot and chilled water, lighting systems, building envelope, psychrometrics, fire protection, and security systems. Course work is a mix of lecture and hands-on including tracing out primary and secondary piping systems, using software to demonstrate processes, setting up trends in controls, and programming a lighting control system.

Badge costs can be paid through your tuition. Tuition may be covered by Financial Aid if you are eligible and earn the badge as part of a larger technical diploma or associate degree program.

A 3-credit college-level course.

Completion of ABS 141- Building Systems 2

A 2-credit college-level course. Badges are issued to those who complete these courses with a letter grade of C or better.
