Earners of this badge will have gained experience with hands-on problem-solving activities. Activities include creating food production efficiencies reliant on local food recovery utilization, creating quantity cooking recipes that incorporate effective food safety practices, and sustainability capabilities, as well as applying nutritional guidelines for producing healthy meals for the local community.

Tuition for Individual MicroCredentials and Badges is paid for by the student. However, if you plan to further your education with a Technical Diploma or Associate Degree, financial aid and scholarships may be available. A 4-credit college-level course.

Completion of CULART-117-- Nutrition for Culinary Arts

Completion of CULART-118-- Sustainable Food Communities

A 1-credit college-level course.

Completion of CULMGT-112--Food Service Sanitation

A 2-credit college-level course. Badges are issued to those who complete these courses with a letter grade of C or better.
